How Saetta AI works

Each US trading day, the Saetta AI engine runs two signal sets for internal evaluation: an overnight list of US-listed stocks, ranked by a rules-based method, and insider-activity alerts based on public SEC Form 4 filings. Either set can be empty on a given day. Each set is recorded and time-stamped before its outcome is known, and the forward record adds its modelled result once prices are final. No orders are placed for the record. The method is proprietary. Saetta AI does not hold money or place trades.

From daily data to the forward record

Five steps from daily inputs to the public record.

  1. Data:daily prices for US-listed stocks from third-party providers, and public SEC Form 4 filings.Daily inputs
  2. Rank:a fixed, rules-based ranking of the eligible stocks; the top 8 make the list.Fixed rules
  3. Seal:at about 15:40 New York the list is time-stamped and chained by SHA-256 to the one before.About 15:40 NY
  4. Hold:modelled entry in the closing auction, exit in the next opening auction.16:00 to 09:30 NY
  5. Record:the result joins the forward record once prices are final, losses included. After final prices

Inputs and what's inside

Inputs: daily US stock prices from third-party data providers and public SEC Form 4 filings from EDGAR. Each list uses only data available when it is sealed. Visitors see our lists and modelled results, never raw vendor data.

Daily prices

Daily prices: opening and closing prices for US-listed stocks from third-party providers; used to rank and to price the forward record.

SEC Form 4 filings

SEC Form 4 filings: insider purchases reported to the SEC's EDGAR system; used for insider-activity alerts.

Sealed lists

Sealed lists: every overnight list, time-stamped and SHA-256-chained to the one before.

Data-driven stock rankings

Each overnight list ranks 8 stocks, 1 to 8, from the eligible US stocks that day. A rank is not a price target, and it does not say what you should do.

Ranks run from 1 to 8 on each overnight list. This strip is the scale, not a live ranking.

How a signal earns its place

Every signal set starts its own forward record.

Each new signal set starts its own forward record on its start date. Records are never back-filled or joined. Machine-learning models have been tested in our research; none is used in anything we publish today.

Recorded before the outcome

Each list and alert is recorded and time-stamped before its entry time and is not changed afterwards. These checks run inside Saetta AI; visitors cannot verify them independently.

How the record is modelled

The forward record prices each signal at the data vendor's daily opening and closing prices, in whole shares for a model account, after modelled commissions, exchange, clearing and regulatory fees and a small allowance for slippage. No order is sent to a broker for the record. Every session stays in, including losing sessions. The forward record shows the details and a comparison with SPY.

What it will not do

It will not tell you what you personally should buy or sell. Saetta AI does not know what you own. We are not a broker or a custodian. We never hold your money or investments, and we do not place trades. We do not sell a copy of a vendor's quotes, news or options flow.
